Bob Knight always said that the best place to be at halftime of a big game was down two.  Coach Knight has been to practice a lot lately.  The plan is coming together nicely

We’re not in a bad spot. Just annoying that our obvious flaws keep us from opening up big leads. But hey…most teams are flawed. We’re just consistently so.

Already used the use it or lose it timeout during one of their runs. Maryland also had a hundred fouls to give since things like traveling in order to body check a guy after a rebound is legal.
