Didn’t matter.  Basically no Holmes and OSU could sale out on defense and smelled blood in the water (ineffective defensive player of the year and 22 points per game).

After that -- jeez, I don't know anymore. 

I certainly didn't think we were a lock for the Final Four, but thought we had an awfully good chance. 

Now, I'm not so sure. This team seems to have lost all confidence. These past two games were just not very good.

It did matter. We were still up 20 at half. This team is more than Holmes. Sheesh. It was a team issue.

Agree.  We have not looked this rattled since the first MSU game.

We get like 13-15 days before our first tourney game. That team will suck. 

So.. 16-17 days until we play someone decent. Might sit Holmes the first rd. 

No way there is a comeback if she was healthy.

Taking a minute to think and calm myself down. I honestly blame this game on the coaching staff. You gotta use your timeouts earlier.  This is no longer the time we’re you need them “to figure it out”. Plus allowing to push the ball in the same corner for perfect traps is inexcusable. The refs calling a better game would have put us over the edge and win but it shouldn’t have come to that.

We fell apart while O$U surged. We have enough in quality and quantity ballhandlers this shouldn’t have happened. A bit worrisome we continued to go to the corners and sidelines to break the press. Get some rest and get ready for the big dance.
