Their length and quickness made it so we couldnt throw over the top, initially. We had someone deep, though. There wasn't anything wrong with the design expect: 1. M Holmes being hurt 2. Officiating 3. Scalia two missed open 3s 4. Holmes+Meister missed layups Quote

TTT Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Holmes was always available for the press. Unavailable and was struggling to kind of almost lumbering around. Was it starting game in Iowa and she played well vs MSU she did visit trainer. So IU Ladies coaches suddenly forgot how to coach. An injury related issue with Holmes with this team will make it look that way for sure. Quote

Screens could have been utilized and better runs towards our half of the basket could have happened. In my opinion. Even doing this a bit more would’ve won us the game. Quote

Involve other personnel if current group not getting it done, switch up the press break, get the team back in the right mindset. Yes I get it that players need to execute, but Coaches need to coach as well. Quote

But yeah, we will. The design was complete fine though. We've played, and dominated OSU twice with the exact press break. Our execution was poor. Quote

Banksyrules Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Serious question. Are we not allowed to run up and down the sideline in the womens game to inbound the pass? Quote
