In honor of our last regular season game against the Iowa Flop-eyes and their "most-awesome-est player ever" who Teri Moren wouldn't put up with, here's a couple of Iowa women's basketball greatest flops, starting with a winner from last night!

By the way... She was fine. Not injured. Walked to the bus. Fine.

Should we rest all of our starters? Even maybe our first big ten tournament team if it’s a weak team? Tournament time focus. I think we have secured the one seed.

I don't understand this line of thinking at all.

We play 1 game in 10 days. 4 games(tops) over the span of 15 days.... THEN we get 1.5 weeks off....

Then we get 2 games at home.

Maybe it's the "load management" thing in the NBA thats made this an option? But I'll be incredibly disappointed to see anything other than full bore to win the next 4 games.

Maybe you reduce M Holmes mins marginally, I can't reconcile many other changes.

Good, either team should provide some fuel for the fire.

Yep. Now.. First game against one of those two opponents, yeah I hope... Sandvik, Bargesser, and Meister get some run early..  and if the game flow allows it, more mins in the 2nd..

But we are all hands on deck, imo, walk the dog. Reg season and tourney.

Trying to figure out how in this clip, Clark wasn't ejected. That wasn't incidental or accidental -- that was an obvious, premeditated, blatant smack to the face. That's a Juwan Howard-like punch -- well, sorta.

She should've been booted.

Ummm... I didn't post the Caitlin Clark cheap shot that hits closest to home. In the game against us from ten days ago. Chloe Moore-McNeil has the ball waist high near the basket, and Clark reaches out and pokes her in the eyes. Here you go; watch the replay from under the basket at the 4:20 mark of the third quarter:

Btw.. we are going to play NEB (who took us to OT) or MSU (who beat us)... in our first BTT game.

Without Grace Berger in probably team's two worst games of season did we play these two squads. Nebraska has talent which is why they played so many teams close early, but appears to have an effort issue now ala OSU on men's side and cannot beat anyone anymore. MSU plays well at home and gives teams all they can handle there. Everywhere else its been a struggle for them.

Biggest thing is Iowa and Maryland are on the other side of bracket so semi's will almost certainly be against OSU, Illinois, or Michigan who IU matches up very well against (I don't buy the notion it's hard to beat a team three times, especially when the Hoosiers are vastly better than all three of them). Hawkeyes, Terps, and Hoosiers are at minimum 10 points superior than anyone else in the league at their best. Also, no issue  playing three games in three days in Minneapolis since team will have nearly two weeks off before hosting home games against bad and mediocre teams in NCAA's.

Only thing team is playing for at this point before Selection Sunday (besides Big Ten Tourney championship) is to hold off Maryland, Iowa, LSU and Uconn for that other one seed in South Carolina (don't worry we can't play SC until Final Four if we are the other one seed in Greenville and if we stay at second or third one seed not until national title game) and not having to travel to Seattle (they have locked a one seed no matter what and Stanford will be routed to Seattle regardless of if they pass IU in pecking order) as a lower one seed for Sweet 16 and Elite 8.

NO

IU Ladies CHARGE!!!  FULL STEAM AHEAD!!!  Play to win the rest of them.  Take no prisoners.  Not the time of year to mess with anything but winning.
In March Madness Tournament there will be a few upsets.  Play to win.  No upset.

No. When College Gameday wants to cover your game, you play your best. It would be a hundred times worse if we did that in the BTT; a huge middle finger to our fans that travel to Minnesota to watch the games.

We've gained a ton of new fans this season; the last thing we want to do is alienate them by not trying to win.

IU Ladies basketball program will 100% / 1000% play to win.

This a fair and interesting point. Dominance will lead to stable fan support
