Pair him with Kopp and you have the worst defending wings in the Big. I’m doing my best to understand how Kopp gets any minutes when he also brings no offense in Woodys system. Yet he has started every game of his career.

I’m right here as my gripe.

At the very least I like Kopp a lot better with X breaking down defenses and stopping opponents off the bounce. He is a huge weight on the team currently

I hate to say it, but getting an “IU guy” out of that seat is gonna be harder than that. Much harder.

This is me be irrationally optimistic, but maybe given his age and being an IU guy there’s a way to “retire” gracefully.

If the TJD doesn't get a block the defense is putrid. Offense get straight to the basket then IU collapses and they kick out for wide open 3s. Why not stop the ball

Gunn is shooting 10% from 3-point range yet insists on shooting them. Everyone likes his energy but he doesn't produce .

Curious what @BGleas and @Demo think of Gunn’s shooting form. To me it looks pretty good but it’s certainly not going in.

His form is fine. He’s a freshman who hasn’t adjusted to B1G ball yet and doesn’t know what is an open shot and what isn’t so he’s playing like a freshman.

Clearly not going well, but this game is by no means over.
This game is far from over but we can't pass it to the upper deck this half. Not sure what is causing such a lapse of focus

Yes over Bates and Kopp all day. Gunn plays defense.

Really gets elevated which hurts %. Dial it back on open 3’s for more consistency.

I like his shot. Great lift and extension. Consistent release point. I’m not worried about that all. He’s just so over-amped and his decision making is so manic. He’s just not ready yet.
