Ugh... anyone know how to change usernames on here? Asking for a friend...

Unfortunately thought we may be hearing from you...

Top right, click the dropdown, account settings, change username will be found there. If you have any issues feel free to send me a message.

Wow. I’ve always liked Garl but if the allegations in this story are true it’s hard to look at him the same. Probably time to hang it up anyway…

Guilty til proven innocent is society. Duke lacrosse taught me never to rush to judgement and ruin peoples lives based on accusations but many do. They probably already have him guilty. People seem to love throwing people under the bus before they can defend themselves

Thanks, friends. A new era is upon us.

I just spit my coffee. I hope you’re satisfied.

I played sports for several years in different organizations and every physical I've had a digital rectal examination.  After sports the physicals were the same.  Am I missing something here?

This isn't just basketball related but here is info on how the athletic department fared in FY 2024:

Indiana

  • Indiana University brought in a record $173.5 million in revenue, an increase of $28.8 million from the previous year.
  • The athletics department reported $176.6 million in expenses, an increase of $37.6 million year-over-year, resulting in a $3.1 million budget deficit.
  • IU generated $26.4 million from ticket sales (up $1.9 million from 2023), $23.6 million from donor contributions (up $4 million), and $50.8 million in media rights (up $3 million).
  • The biggest increase in expenses came from coaching salaries, which cost $32.5 million, an increase of $6.6 million, and $22.1 million was paid in severance, an increase of $18.5 million.

The $3.1 mil deficit also took into account former coach Allen's $15.5 mil lump sum buyout.

Yep. Any idea who the rest of the severance payments go to?

Tell me this isn't happening  in the midst of everything else this season. Fire Adidas while we're at it.

Is that…uh…orange?

  1. Yes; that's orange.
  2. For context - that tweet is from some rando that notices that these jerseys are in the IU Bookstore; nothing more.

Yeah, I'll settle for putting last year's HBE uniforms on the court. I can't believe these even made it to production. Thank goodness there aren't plans to wear these (so far).

It isn't exactly nothing. Nebraska wore their version the other night. I would guess if we wear them for a game, the color on the back will match the front though.

Good find.  This is going to go over well with our fanbase who is already highly irritated lol.

This is one thing where I find everyone getting mad to be funny.

If we're going to do special jersey's once a year, go ahead and put the player's name on the back.  Let's find out if the traditionalists' heads will really explode or if people realize there's nothing wrong with having the players' names on an IU jersey.

I've been a big fan of our past BHM uniforms, but this one seems to be a pretty big miss. Would fit this team perfectly.
