I'm guessing that thing at midcourt was AI's attempt at the IU trident? Also, one of the crying Boilers has an extra finger.

While the free throw lanes are in black like they are at Mackey.

Probably a stupid question but do you know if the Marquette tickets are out yet? I've seen some resales pop up, I assume way over face value
I checked out the resale market yesterday. The tickets are. Way overpriced. If I remember correctly, the cheapest was over 200 for seats fairly high up

Just so everyone knows…before this edit you were claiming Torvik has IU rated as the #117 team in the country and 17th in the B1G.
Couldn’t be easier to get this right but Torvik actually has em #42, and 12th in conference. It’s within what I assume is margin of error of 9th

Imagine being so blinded by your dislike of this roster/DDv that you actually believed they were #117 nationally with this much talent.

Sketchy behavior.

Deleted immediately.  Also 12 and 17 aren’t that far off.

Talent wise, I’ve admitted I’ve got serious questions about this group.  Especially for top 10 money.

Listen to the Hoosier Hysterics with Rabjohns from today.  My stance and questions align exactly with Eric about this years team.

Rabby said we are buying “expiring contracts” from the portal because costs were too high and the portal wasn’t filled with great talent.

Meaning, we like everyone else overpaid and had to build entirely from portal at a bad time. But as Eric explains he gave many examples like NC State as comparisons that “outperformed” us given the same constraints.

Ultimatley the pressure to win is the same no matter what.  I trust DeVries better than most but I do genuinely think our roster is lacking.  Can’t wait to find out.

In general I really recommend that Hysterics pod from today.

They also get into the way that other programs will be cooking the books to overcome shortages from revenue sharing.

Players will start some sort of a business. Something basic and easy.  Nil investors are and will pay into the business and shortcut will be easy as pie.

Hopefully Indiana will be cutting edge with this or else we will get lapped again if relying on revenue sharing only.

It’s Torvik talent rating that has IU next to last in the B1G …….

and Penn St top 6 in the B1G.  lol.   People can doom and gloom all they want or they  can pump pump pumpity that sunshine all they want but torvik posting a talent rating graphic isn’t going to make any difference.  My guess is after the season starts that graphic won’t be seen again.   Probably won’t be seen in another week again.

im at the point where I don’t really give a crap one way or the other on the optics of the team or program.  They will either be good or they won’t

Just curious- what f’d up metric allows for PSU to be sixth out of 18 B1G teams?

The graphic was a fake.  AntWright troll piece.  Either way, it’ll be the results that matter just like every other year.

However, going forward preseason hype isn’t not important.  I guarantee you it makes recruiting SO much easier to have 1. Results 2. Momentum 3. The media machine spinning good word in front and behind the computer.

Fortunately, Scott seems to get "it" and I think he will likely figure out whatever we need to do to get around the clearinghouse.

His track record is pretty good.  He inherited a clueless athletic dept.  Despite this, he was all over NIL when it started -- we were early on the collectives.  He also 100% completely changed IU's entire institutional approach to football, which is very impressive given how many people he had to get on board.

I'm personally not too worried about us getting NIL to our athletes.

What I am focused on is our overall athletic dept revenue and closing the big gaps to many of our P2 peers, but that's a separate topic.
