With all of this recruiting, I'm starting to worry about Woody's golf game. When does he have time to play any more?

It's too chilly to be playing in Bloomington right now. Older people like myself 47 and over get too stiff to play in the fall.

I am worried about all the miss time with this years team.

I'll have to ask but I don't believe he's missed a practice yet this year. With 24 recruiting almost wrapped up, he should be good to go.

I believe that since it offseason, you can only practice so many hours per week and therefore the players have at least 1 day a week off from practice. That is when Woody and the staff travel. The player i believe could still lift or shoot around, but think there is a limit on scheduled practices with staff. Again, i believe i read that somewhere, so if i am wrong, dont shoot the messenger

You're correct but I think the season has actually started. However, even during the season they are limited in the number of hours they are allowed to work directly with the players (practice). It's more time than during the offseason but still limited. The players aren't limited in how much they work on their games without the coaching staff, as you say.

I'm not positive about this but the number 20 hours per week comes to mind. I think that is how much practice time the coaches are allowed to have during the season.

Edit: I looked it up and the 20 hours per week is correct. In addition they are restricted to 4 hours per day and you were correct about requiring 1 day off per week. These number are just the maximum the staff can require and work with the players.

Teams are required to have one day/week off from formal practice so today is likely this week's off day.  Players still practice on their own but it has to be without the coaching staff present.
