You are correct!

Posting went on a tangent and I’m guilty as charged for aiding in that.

It’s fun to see a team engaged, seemingly behind their coach, playing GREAT defense , etc etc. Just an exciting turnaround in just 1/2 of a season.

The good news is the whole staff is rock solid, and if IU has a run of success and then turns to Kenya Hunter or Dane Fife when CMW retires, we’ll be in good hands.

Exactly!!! They are all doing their jobs.  If Phinesee hadn’t gotten hot and had a more normal game for him, we lose that game.  We are 16-5 and I am sure each assistant has contributed to every win and every loss.  We as fans shouldn’t read too much into it and leave it up to Dolson and Matta!

We need the turtles to go on a tear so this counts a quad 1 win.  Plus our game at home will move in to quad 2 range as well

They seem to be the Jekyll and Hyde type. Beat IL and FL, almost beat Iowa. But have some bad losses.

Overall, just happy to get the win. Wasn't perfect, but at risk of being overly simple... we outscored them both quarters, and did it on the road. I'll take it.

Maryland looked lifeless all game, zero fight in them. Not all that different than IU against Michigan

Here is a little tidbit of information on Lander.  He played 10 minutes against Maryland and was productive for the most part.  Defense seemed a little better albeit it could have been from Maryland being lifeless.  However, the thing that CMW wants to see out of Lander is him running the floor, that he can run the offense without looking over to CMW for directions.  I for one have seen him do this and I think that started under Archie Miller.  It seemed as though all of the guards did it when Miller was the coach.  Lander has an opportunity to play more minutes, that is something we all can look it to see if there is improvement.  For those of who couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t getting minutes, now you know!

I can't remember who it was - I want to say either Devonte Green or Rob - but I'm almost certain we got a non-pressured backcourt violation once because of them looking at Archie for a play call on their way down the floor.

I think it's been both. Maybe repeatedly.

Pretty sure it was the Rutgers game where IU jumped out to a big lead and looked like they were going to blow them out and then the wheels feel off and I think Rutgers ended up leading at half

Also happened at the Minny game where Justin Smith hit the big 3 late.    Green again.    I’m going to go down a rabbit hole looking for these plays now.  Lol.   Looking  up the box score on espn and looking  at the play by play of some of these game probably isn’t good for the health

The Minnesota one is the one I had on my mind. It all just came rushing back to me. Thanks for that, I guess.

It’s amazing what an asshat that guy turned out to be.

From J. D. Campbell a pretty amazing stat.

Lots of great numbers for @IndianaMBB individually and as a team last week.  One that stood out was that we didn’t have a shot blocked in 2 games and we swatted away 16.

Geronimo and TJD say hello. Geronimo 2 in both games, TJD 4 and 1. No one else more than 1. (Others with 1 block each: Race, Galloway, Bates, X, Kopp (!))

Geronimo is a blocking machine, per minute.

I remember that!  It’s almost like he was a micro-manager.  He screwed up his team’s confidence
