So Durr is in the doghouse a little, Lander is hurt, JG got a little of his butt chewed off, Bates seems to be slowly turning it around. Anything else about the bench? Trey hit a 3 which is always good.

Starters played well starting the game, then played not so well to end the game.

If we can get consistent games from X, TJD and Race then sprinkle in points from others I like the way we are moving forward.

Loved the start, didn't love the finish but we're 15-5 with a toss-up at Maryland.

What evidence are you looking at to show Bates seems to be slowly turning it around?

I loved the start of the game but we went back to bad habits in the second half that allowed PSU WIDE OPEN threes. That has and will continue to doom us.

I believe we're only in a toss-up at Maryland if we bring it (e word). If we show up like the first PSU game or against Michigan it's not really a toss-up.

Bates defense to me has looked better lately, and he hit a shot or two last night which he hasn't done in a while. Might be wishful thinking but hoping he went through a freshman stretch is now coming out of it.

Totally agree with what you said but for some reason, I feel like Race, X, and TJD are not going to let us sleepwalk through Maryland. Not saying we're going to win but just think we'll be in the game.

I also noted that Bates seemed to be more in control.  And I think IU wins...because it's BDT.  But if the team doesn't compete on the road then...I blame the fans on this site.  (Just kidding.)

Gotcha, I wrongfully blamed him for leaving the shooter in the corner when it was Geronimo. I'm hoping he has turned a corner too. Again, it's not so much hitting shots, that would definitely be nice, but making the right play and defending. I've noticed it seems that mostly P Stew and Kopp are the guilty parties over helping. I'm wondering if that has to do with the systems they came from or knowing they both need help on drivers?

Let's hope so!! I won't be happy with a loss but actually competing and losing is completely different than sleepwalking. I would also love for X to take this team by the balls and lead them. He might be the closest player we have to a leader.

BDT?

I like blaming anything and everything that doesn't involve the players and coaches too! Sometimes the wind just isn't in your favor or someone makes noise in your back swing or it's just not your day or it's a curse from insert your favorite scapegoat!

C'mon guys. Everyone knows that the BDT is the official currency of Bangladesh. It's Dave's way of saying "it's money in the bank."

Durr deserves the bench / dog house for a bit. His defense is pretty laughable. He doesn't jump to the ball and he tends to have his back to the basketball on the weakside. Fixable from our coaching staff and Durr buying in!

(ie... BDT)

And that bag is pronounced beg.  And that Kattiwhompus is opposite corner.  And that Posey County melons are the best.

I was right. Living in Southern Indiana all my life paid off. What do I win?
