I remember when Few was among the coaches mentioned for IU last time (when we got CTC) people stating that he loved the Pacific NW.

Don't think there is any appeal in leaving. Plays in a terrible conference where he is pretty much guaranteed to lose 0-2 games a year and now that he is starting to recruit the one and dones I don't see him ever leaving. If he keeps this up he could end up with the most wins all time

He’s been offered big time jobs up and down the west coast including UCLA. I don’t think he’s ever really entertained them. He just loves Gonzaga. They are lucky.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to watch IU during their prime years. The only times I’ve been overly excited was

-2002 championship game against Maryland. (Ended poorly)

-2012-13 season (Ended Poorly)

-This offseason, with hopes of finally bringing in Stevens. (Appears to have ended poorly)

I’m still hopeful we land a great coach, it’s just not the result I had hoped for.

 

 

Edit: Just saw 0708’s latest post...no longer hopeful I guess. Lol
