That's interesting if true. I will say that the info circulating today is definitely different than that. But if that info is being sent around I'm guessing it is for good reason.

Or what if that person in BOT is delivering a smoke screen so people don’t catch onto the Stevens stuff. Haha I know I know wishful thinking!

IsaacTor had ONE post on this board before today, and it came on 3/6/24, at 3:17 p.m. It was announced around 7 p.m. that night that Woodson was getting another year.

Something to consider.

Are we sure that’s his only post? I had several people DM saying he was here 4 years ago too.

I hate doing this every time someone mentions coyle, but he is not reliable

He knows a lot of people.  Has Leary, Bozich,  Mike Decourcy, etc on his show all the time.  Has had Dusty on before.  He knows a ton of people.

And given how ridiculous NBA salaries have gotten I believe him.

Well if he’s right then it’s going to be tough. This is going to be a long 3 weeks on these boards.

$11.5M/yr is a bit hard to believe.  That would make Brad perhaps the highest paid exec in the NBA.  Below are some links with what other execs make.  All of them, including names like Pat Riley, are less than $11.5M/yr.

Maybe Brad does make that much… it would just be surprising.  He made $4M/yr when he was the coach and tripling that to be GM doesn’t really make sense.

I haven't read every post. It's hard to keep up. But out of curiosity, is Oats a viable candidate? I believe he would be good hear. He isn't my number 1 by no means.
I hope Stevens comes, but I will believe it when I see it.
I like Dusty, but will he be willing to leave Michigan after 1 year. I'm not so sure.
I might like to see Beard only if they do very deep dive and see if the incident was a 1 time incident or a pattern.
I know some only want the white whate. I understand that. We shall see.

In the end, I hope Dolson identifies a coach who can bring us back to prominence.

It's pretty simple. If he want's to coach college, he knows the job is his.  All he needs to do is pick up the phone.  If he doesn't want it, then move along.  No reason to belabor it.

Yep exactly! I just wish sometimes a coach or in this case Stevens would come out and say I’m not interested in coaching at this time (if he actually isn’t interested) and I’m happy in Boston and want to stay. There is zero chance he’s oblivious to him being at the top of the candidate list.

He literally did that 4 years ago lol.

Huge buyout.   Has things rolling at Bama.  Made a final 4 already and has them in position to be a 1 seed in the tourney again.  Don’t think he would want to leave Bama for a rebuild unless it’s North Carolina or Kansas.   Told Kentucky thanks but no thanks last cycle
