Ohio State freshman wing Scotty Middleton into the portal.  Was in Ohio State's rotation this year, averaging 15 minutes, 4.4 points, and 1.4 rebounds per game.  6'7".  Was ranked 60th in the class of 2023.  Shot well from three last year (but not inside the arc) -- 40% overall, 45% from three, making 28 of 62 threes.

Huntley-Hatfield has cut his list to four teams:  NC State, Pittsburgh, U Conn, and a return to Louisville.

I guess I don't get the U Conn thing.  Doesn't seem like a fit there.  They seem to want a mobile lineup.

If that was the recruiting strategy we'd have a 45 man roster.

That would be interesting. I can't say that I'd hate it. I think that he'd be pretty good in the WAC. But I don't have a clue what their NIL is like.

Goldin is also NOT entering the portal now. Apparently just testing the NBA waters and returning to FAU if it doesn't go well

Interesting. According to the 247sports.com portal list he's there. But who knows where that came from. Goldin is not listed on the on3.com portal list.

There's so much information floating around - some conflicting and some corroborating. Without NGW here to sort it all out, none of us knows for sure. :D :D :D
