I guarantee this is what happened:  they added time back on the game clock after reviewing it but the scorekeeper never added the correct time back on the game clock.  That's on the Northwestern timer.

I feel like there’s gotta be a way to stync these. It’s 2021 and we need to start two separate clocks upon touching the ball?

I know we have the right to blame coaching but our players need to want to play, and the ones that do are not in majority

The culture of an organization/team starts from the top and something has not been clicking for 3 1/2 years. That being said, I still think we get the W today.

As we were inbounding the ball the game clock said 4.2 and the shot clock was at one.

When they reviewed the tape the shot clock had expired but the game clock had only run down to 3.4 and Trayce had let go of the ball. I think that’s why they counted it.

I live in SE Virginia. A couple years back, ODU was at either Texas-San Antonio or Texas-El Paso. There were 6 seconds left and the Texas school had the ball. After it was inbounded, the clock started late and after about 8-9 actual seconds, UTEP or UTSA took a shot and was fouled. The ODU staff went nuts -- rightly so -- and after reviewing the tape and realizing the shot came well after 6 seconds had expired, the refs said that's it, game over. Very bizarre ending.

Can almost guarantee Rob starts the second half - bigger question is will he make a positive contribution to the stat line. Is there a more disappointing player in the Big10?

Hunter not turning out to be what he was supposed to be really hurts us. We really needed him this year!

And Phinisee. That class looked like it was going to be awesome but instead was a big setback

This reminded me of a game at Wisconsin, I think it was Knight's last year. We were down 2-3 and had a chance to tie/win the game when Wisconsin knocked it out of bounds with a full 1.5 on the clock. But the clock kept running, and the officials declared the game over.
