Wanted to Express the Appreciation of the Board to...

Wanted to take a moment to express the complete, total appreciation of the Board, with no snarkiness or sarcasm (for once) to...

Old Fart and Uspshoosier.

Here's why:

When IU Men's Basketball is...ahem...underachieving, the negativity and repetition of that negativity may be completely justified and the hot topic of the day, but if that's all we're reading the board becomes way way less enjoyable to visit.

Old Fart and Usps can be just as snarky and opinionated (and handsome and charming) as the rest of us, but they, without fail, constantly add substance and balance; Old Fart especially with all things IU and so many good recruiting links, and Usps with deep-dive info and real time smart takes on all things college basketball beyond IUBB. They aren't the only ones that add so much value and interest to what we see on the board, but IMO there are none better.

They both fill the board with excellent, on-point information on such a regular basis that the less sunshine-ey threads are only part of the picture, even when IUBB  is less than optimal.

So huzzah, hooray, and THANK YOU to two of the best reads we could ever possibly hope for.

I would like to add I really appreciate USPS's tournament bracket posts.  He is able to remove any personal bias and put himself in the shoes of an outsider....that's an incredibly tough task.

You have them absolutely fooled Old Fart. What is peasants don’t really know is Old Fart built a crawler that locates any and all things IU athletics. That’s converted to posts on here. Fools!!

I greatly appreciate all the updates from the (good) mods. They do a ton of work and share with us out of their love for IU athletics, and possibly the hookers and blow Natty provides them.

Old fart brings great info to the board on all IU sports (something mamasa used to do...quit slacking please).  He's also awesome on recruit info.  Thank you!  Really the only thing he's terrible at is the prediction league.

USPS watches more college basketball in a month than I do in a decade.  Thank you for keeping us informed on all of it!  My only complaint is that he sometimes doesn't finish his posts.  Example...I get up in the morning and read through the College Basketball thread to check last night's action.  He'll post about how school X is up on school Z by 1 with 8 seconds left.  Then no follow up post.  I have to go elsewhere to check what happened!  Such a tease.
