I don't.  I have seen Leal play once, and he was pretty good.  Did more inside than out because people were running at him and doubling him on the perimeter.  He's a good shooter as is Geronimo.  Galloway is more of a driver than a shooter.  His game reminds me of Pete Maravich....meaning only that he's "different."  Creative would be a good word.  He's also a very willing defender.

Sadly if TJD leaves, they’ll be playing in the NIT. Maybe when they are Juniors and Seniors they’ll be dancing. Leals shot got a bit quicker over the summer it seemed. Almost has a Klay Thompson like shot. All 3 better work at becoming monster 3 point shooters. Because we need a Nik Stauskas like yesterday.

I watched Leal this last weekend, I don't know what his 3 point percentage is but not sure how seriously you can take it with their schedule. They won both Friday and Saturday by 40. So these are not serious game 3's in some of these games. Plus against some of the competition he can get to the rim anytime he wants. I like him a lot but I'm saying don't hold his percentage to this is what he is a type of numbers.

Through Dec. 14, Leal shooting 39% on 3s.

Both are accurate but I forgot that Anthony's mother had updated his % between the 2 dates.  Obviously the decline in % is not what we'd like to see.  Thanks for the catch.

No problem. Think he posted a 1 of 2 after that. So it’s up to 35%.

That's fair, but TJD isn't going anywhere until he learns how to guard someone and gets some semblance of a jump shot.  He's not big enough to play in the NBA with his current offensive game.

He’s 6-9. He’s the same size as Tristan Thompson. A guy who has zero offensive game. It might be a surprise to you, but the NBA is pretty accepting of guys who can only rebound or who can rebound and block a shot or two. And TJD has potential. If the offense comes along then great. But they’ll be drafting TJD mainly for his rebounding and ability to rebound outside of his area. 2-3 years with an NBA trainer and he’ll be playing the 5 likely and maybe the 4 depending on what team he goes to and what other big he’d be on the floor with.

It's a damned good thing the admin around here doesn't tolerate name calling.   But I promise you....there is no way you would speak in that childish condescending way to me or anyone else on here face to face the way you do hiding behind a keyboard.  The guy who acts like the smartest guy in the room is generally one of the dumbest.  The way you write confirms it for me, but I digress.  TJD as an NBA 5 (and maybe a 4) is one of the more ignorant comments I've seen on this board.   You might want to differentiate between "big" and "tall."  I digress again.

Tristan Thompson is (or was) an elite NBA defender.  Do you believe TJD can guard Steph Curry and hold him 10 points below his average and to 34% shooting over a 7 game series?  Thompson did.  But go on and focus on the offensive game or minutiae.  That's easier.  He also averages 12 PPG.  That's a little better than "zero offensive game."  But hey....don't let facts get in your way.

I'll let you reply and rant if you'd like to; but I'll go back to ignoring you.  There's just no point.  You and your little club enjoy being angry and upset over everything, and believing about yourselves whatever it is you do.  Trust me, amigo....you don't know more than everyone else here; and I'd be surprised if you truly know more than anyone.  You know what everyone says about opinions, right?

When did Thompson exclusively cover or even for a majority of time cover Curry in a 7 game series? I really don't recall that happening. Not saying it didn't but I don't remember watching that and I watched those series

I know he got switched a lot with him but not sure it was enough to say he held him 10pts below his average. And I'm assuming this is the series when both Love and Irving were out.
