OliviaPope40 Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 The Diplomat is incredibly good. I blame my grandmother for getting me hopped up on Law and Order I'm watching it on Hulu worth skipping school as a kid. Quote

Demo Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Who else is watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? Wasn’t going to because I kind of hate House of the Dragon other than the actual dragons. But I busted out the 1st 4 episodes Saturday morning and it’s phenomenal. Great lead characters. The supporting characters fit incredibly well. Egg may be my favorite child character ever. Love that kid. And the short tightly packed episodes work so well. And the parts of the trial of seven shot from the Dunc perspective in episode 5 was pretty inspired and the entire episode was compelling as hell. Big, big thumbs up. I haven’t watched yet but you will be about the 11th person to recommend it and most said that this last episode was one of the best in the entire saga. Muskie plays the four 1 Quote

I’m trudging through HotD at the moment. It had its moments early on, but I’m not huge on it. KotSK looks awesome. Quote

The first episode I thought is this going to be kind of a bad comedy as it began. Finally watched Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, so initially I'm thinking, ok they took this theme too far and now this is going to be really stupid. Glad I stuck around because the development of characters is definitely growing on me. And yes, Egg is a great young actor! Quote

I may rewatch the second season of HoTD to catch back up for when it comes out in June. The third season should start off with a huge battle because they only did the 8 episodes for budget reasons. These last 2 seasons should be a lot of action. I watched the first 3 episodes of AKotSK because my wife doesn't have the time right now and wants me to watch with her, but I did really like those 3. I can see why those that read the books love Dunc and Aeg. Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I enjoyed the stories in AKotSK…quick read. They’ve added a decent amount already this first season but it all fits nicely. The story by itself wouldn’t otherwise fit a season of TV. Great job so far. Demo 1 Quote

I need to start the second season of The Pitt. That is a show I liked to watch several at a time as it is one continuous hour in a day. My wife is going back to school and doesn't have a lot of time to watch and asked me to wait for Spring Break with her, but I caught her watching it on her phone over the weekend. She said that she couldn't wait. SMH Muskie plays the four and mamasa 2 Quote

Tales of Dunk and Egg are amazing. I suggest everyone read them. I was worried about this series but after season 1 I give them an A. Very well done so far. My brother in law worries they will continue the show past the books and that is when things can go horribly......example GOT. Muskie plays the four, Jeff Flabjohns and Demo 3 Quote

The plot change from Maekar giving his blessing to Egg going with Dunc to Egg just busting out and lying about it is a pretty giant alteration. Will be really curious to see how that’s dealt with. It's either because I didn't read the books, or because I watched the series years after it ended, but I feel like one of a very small group of people that didn't really mind the last couple seasons of GOT. It was a little goofy, but still overall enjoyable for me. It certainly didn't ruin my life like it seemed to for the diehards of the series. Muskie plays the four and fwgreenway 2 Quote
