Delphi Brackets has as an 11th seed as of 3/14 so not sure if this was before or after our game.

They tweeted yesterday that we were out after the loss. They also responded to someone who asked if there was a "dream scenario" still alive where a bunch of other bubble teams lost allowing IU to sneak into a Dayton game with..."No". So their bracket must not have been updated. Unless they had a change of heart later in the evening.

I'm guessing the reality is we could not have possibly made ourselves look worse yesterday. Not only by losing but by how we lost with very little fight until the end. Had it been a truly back and forth game with both teams fighting like hell, maybe we put ourselves in a position to be seen as equally deserving of a bid even with a loss. But now we give a leg up to all of other teams like Belmont who so many people are arguing are deserving. The last impression we gave was a reminder of the team we were during the most important stretch of the season. We'll have to see if the committee takes that into consideration, or simply looks at things on paper. I say we are done though. And deservedly so.

I would add also root for Michigan State and Marquette to win their conference tournament. Could help the NET and 3 wins against conference tourney champions isn’t a bad look...

If you put us and UNCG on the court, who would win? It’d be closer to 50/50 than you think. We just aren’t that good. There is a reason we are 17-15. There is a reason we lost 12 of 13. That should mean something. We were honestly terrible for a majority of the season.

If IU isnt good in your mind and you think it’s 50/50 then by your standards UNCG isn’t good

There is no scenario putting us in the NCAA.  None.  It doesn't matter if literally every single game goes our way.  We had our chance against OSU.  Didn't do it.  Not good enough.  8-12 even in a good conference isn't good enough.  The Rutgers and Northwestern losses blowing huge leads killed them- win those and in.

What about losing the iowa, purdue, and other ohio state game. All major blown opportunies. Bottom line is we blew it and we are going to the NIT.

struggling to understand why Tenn isn't getting more 1 spot love. beat KY twice, beat the Zags on a neutral floor, high in Net, less losses than some of the names going around.

Assuming IU doesn’t get in, I will flat out be rooting for Tenn this year. My favorite team to watch. So cohesive and compete like crazy. Also, I think it would be great for the game to see a team without a single elite recruit and a Coach who was fired from his last gig win it.

I would think so too, but just watched ESPN and most said it didn't matter what they did today. Most said Zags, Duke, UNC, and VA as ones. And KY and TN at twos (with likely MSU and UM).

If Tennessee wins today, should replace Gonzaga IMO

I wonder if they committee will put three from the ACC as 1 seeds. I don’t think they will unless Tenn loses and whoever might be another choice lose as well today.

I'm a UT fan as well. They're the only SEC team I can stomach.

And I'm for any team not named Duke, NC, KY, KS, etc..
