Should be the same with Fitzner. For a 6-10 dude, he doesn't bring much but outside shooting -- and for the past several games, he hasn't even brought that.

Nice W! Really think Forester has something to contribute for this team this year, he looks like he’s eager and for the most part completely focused! I know he was a little slow on some close outs but that maybe just from lack of playing time. Moore did fairly well as well.

Not this year.   Spot minutes and nothing more.  Down the road?  Yes.  The Big Ten is far different than a tired Central Arkansas team late in the 2nd half down by 35.

We need to play Forrester over Fitzner. Fitzner has averaged about 2 pts a game the last 8 games. Jake can do that plus his shot blocking abilities and energy.

Disagree.  WAY disagree.  Fitzner older, stronger, and more experienced.   Forrester's time will come.  Not yet.

Here's the thing...there are 3 main problems freshmen face in their transition and they vary in severity to each individual so this isn't in any order. This is how it's been explained to me and it's something to consider when watching freshmen....

1) Physical strength- D1 workout regiment blows HS out of the water. It can be a man vs boy situation often

2) Mental aspects- confidence, crowd, pressure, expectation, adversity

3) Defense- the game is just so much faster and everyone can score so the system becomes more complicated

Damezi and Romeo clearly struggle with the second. That happened to Yogi...I watched him go from 30 to 40, to 41, to 42 %. You'll notice the outlier...

You can see the potential in those two.  I can see them both being solid contributors in the future.

No, but a big chunk. I like that though. Play your horses. I told Tom Crean about this every game thread the past 10 years. Lol.

Whether they were tired or not he came in with a fire put some points on the board. That is a contribution, whether it’s against central Arkansas or against any B1G team. We are gonna need the young guys on the road in the near future especially when Morgan or Davis get in foul trouble. Moore had a decent showing at PSU and Jake tonight. Reps in game flow are the only thing that’s gonna help those two.
