We just suck. I mean, this team lost by 25 to a winless Nebraska team and they're doing whatever they want. We're just that bad.

 

I wish we had kept Allen as a coordinator and hired a coach. When you think about it, the reason he was viewed as being so valuable to our program was because Wilson did such an awful job with the defense. Allen would make a nice d-coordinator, but he isn't the right guy to lead this program and it shows.

Its not the price, its that Cool Dad took 8 seconds to decide that Allen should be the coach without surveying the landscape and checking other options. Whether Allen is being paid $1mn or $4mn a year it was a bad decision.
