IU vs MSU: 9/22 7:30PM BTN

Recommended Posts

Haha, I hope some of you are posting drunk, are under 25, or have another legit excuse.

I'm sure the offense wasn't trying to move the ball downfield. Really?
IU got beat by a better, albeit dirty program. I'll take 3-1 heading into Rutger. I'm sure not many of you had IU winning this game at the beginning of the yeast.

3-1 is where we expected to be after tonight.  I think part of it is the way we played.

The inconsistency was shocking.

I thought the play calling was bad in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

With only a couple of exceptions I thought Ramsey played well, not sure why anyone is calling for replacement.

If we can’t beat Michigan State how the hell do we beat Iowa or Maryland?

We'll likely compete with both, as well as Minnesota, Penn State, and Purdue. Should win next week. Season is far from over but a win tonight would have been really big, and a 5-0 start with a win over MSU would possibly landed us in the polls. Ceiling is still 8 wins IMO.

Tonight's game was disappointing but we'll have a shot against Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Purdue. Michigan State is probably better than all of those teams. Michigan State may not be college playoff material, but their run defense is elite; it's easily the best in the nation so far. S&P hasn't been updated for this week yet, but I don't think we comported ourselves too poorly so I don't expect us to drop too much.

Disappointing performance. Very disjointed and inconsistent.

Historic example of IU football over the years.  It's much less stressful to simply read about the games than to actually watch or listen to a radio broadcast.  Seen this movie way too many times that I can recite the diaglogue.
