Overall -   6-6       Indiana football and a winning season is an oxymoron

I really think this is best case scenario given that Maryland/Purdue will be very close imo. Hope we can pull another one or two out though.

9-3. Probably too optimistic for some, but I think the S&C coaches are a big help and I think finally we can stay healthy. I would have loved to put MSU up as W but I have a feeling it will be another tight game that their experience overshadows our youth. I don’t think PSU will be that amazing this year. Yeah Mcsorely is still there but I just don’t see it after what I have looked into. I still think the go bowling but I don’t think they have the hype come mid season that people are thinking.

5-7. Delaney and the “powers that be” need to balance the East and West divisions.

I'm not sure it would even matter. Instead of losing to Ohio State and Michigan every year, we'd be losing to Wisconsin and Nebraska instead. Sure, our success rate against those teams might be more like once every 10 years instead of once every 30, but on a year to year basis I don't think it would change anything.

With the current alignment, IU will almost always lose to the football factories of UM, PSU and O$U and also lose to MSU most of the time. That’s four almost automatic losses each year. PU, for example doesn’t have that problem. Nebraska is not a powerhouse like they used to be. For me, I would send one of the football factories to the West in exchange for a school like IL. The other part of the equation is I would like IU to become a stronger program, but given our losing history, that’s easier said than done.

7-5

This is what I think we should be able to achieve. That being said, I don't know much about our opponents this year. It's also IU football, and IU football tends to lose 2 or 3 more games than I think they should.

I see 8-4 if the offense takes a step forward and the defense doesn't have much of a drop off from last season:

4-8 if we dont't improve offensively and the defense takes a step back (or we're plagued by injuries)
