That's great. LeBron goes 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 and he either shoots it at the end of the clock or Smith, Korver, or Love hoist up a 3 late in the clock. That's the extent of their "passing". Quote

I always see people say that they "don't play defense" in the NBA, but if you actually watch you see that they do. The stars are just so good at offense that they're almost impossible to stop. Yes the defense is good in the NBA, for the most part. The bottom of the NBA is really bad though, comparatively. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

But watching the Cavs is just awful entertainment. Pacers, Spurs, Warriors, Rockets.. those teams share the ball. Cavs, Thunder, horrible, horrible basketball. Neat. To each their own I guess. I could make an argument that college basketball is garbage given, 90% of the guys playing it aren't actually that good at basketball. 9 minutes ago, btownqb said: That's great. I don't even like the Cavs, but the moves they made were to get guys who are good at playing team ball. They're dominated by LeBron, but the guy is the best in the sport when he takes over. The difference from their ball movement before the moves and now is night and day. Helps when you get rid of your cancerous pieces (IT) Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

I mean he looks fine with the Lakers....... but the Lakers kind of suck and are taking advantage of not tanking while playing a bunch of tanking teams. So basically what he was with Sacramento and Phoenix, a good guy on a bad team. I'm still surprised at the personal crusade he took to kill any good will he had worked up in Boston with his off the court stuff Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

If we're basing D1 players against me, then they're all first, second, or third team NBA players. That isn't even an argument worth arguing against because of how illogical it is. And yeah, most college players aren't actually that good at basketball. Hanner Perea had a scholarship to a major 5 school and he couldn't catch a basketball, Hollowell looked like he was reading some ancient language when he had the ball in his hands. But yeah, sure they're good at basketball.... wirenuts, MikeRoberts and thebigweave 3 Quote

They were good, of course, but I never would've guessed they were going D1 if I hadn't known beforehand. I think it makes a difference whether we're talking high major or mid to low major. This belongs in the eye rolling statements hall of fame. I went to high school with a guy who was a bench player for Cornell He was pretty unstoppable against non division talent. BGleas 1 Quote
VO5 Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Using specific D1 college players to prove a point about most D1 college players is incredibly ignorant. 90% of players in D1 aren’t good? Lol that’s just a laughable statement. D1 players are probably in the top 1-2% of players in the world. IUsafety, IUc2016, CSP and 1 other 4 Quote

One of the D1 players I played against when we were seniors scored a half dozen points and lost to us by 29 points. We were a 1A school. Roll your eyes if you'd like, and maybe he had an off game, but I was expecting much more from a D1 player. There was nothing impressive about him that night. Where'd he go to college Quote
