Baltimore Hoosier Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Not to talk Big Ten Tournament or anything.. But man, Maryland has really underachieved this season. The Justin Jackson injury was huge, but I can't help but think this team should be in the B1G's top 6. Lot of talent coming back next season most likely. They will be one of the better teams in the conference in 2018-2019. Nickens and Cekovsky are the only seniors who see minutes. Quote

They need to hope that freshmen big, Fernando, stays, but even with Jackson, Huerter and Cowin they'll be good. I've seen Fernando in a lot of mocks in the 1st round. I think it would serve him well to come back and try to become a lottery pick, but I don't know his situation at all. Quote

He's had quite a bit of talent but hasn't won enough to be an above average coach.
