Anybody else think this news of Franklin being "on the clock" is related to the fact that Newman is supposed to be visiting IU this weekend and Franklin is afraid he may commit while there???

I will love him like any other Hoosier but this isn’t the guard prospect I was hoping for to replace Romeo as a one and done.

Like I’ve said a few times, I will wait until the class is finalized to really judge it.

Not excited but not upset either. This is exactly the kind of player that goes to Purdue and we don’t worry about (but often times end up being good players). Pretty much sums up my feeling today on the matter.

Optimistic viewpoint...above

Pessimistic viewpoint...he gets recruited over. Never sees much court time and therefore hampers relations with HS coaches.

Which one happens is anyone’s guess.

I just seriously doubt he contributes substantially before his junior year.

By then, we'll hopefully be recruiting at a higher level anyway so he may not contribute much anyway.

I'm not sure what need he answers.

Yep. I’ll roll with it also. Villanova has taken a composite 3 star the last 4 years and didn’t seem to hold them back any.

Probably somewhere in the middle. I think with his build he will develop into a very good defender and by extension a solid 6th man as a junior and senior.

The other night TJD went "live" with Armaan while they were off playing some event. TJD said something like "Indiana needs to show this guy some love." 

Mixed reviews on the board so far and that's perfectly ok.

I don't doubt Archie sees some potential there. I also don't doubt Archie knows how to play the connections game, thus the reason I quote this post. This recruitment, like most, probably has an extra layer to it.
