With all of the major media outlets, sportswriters, etc., talking about a possible change at IU, how could you not anticipate your job was in jeopardy.  If he'd have just followed btb, he'd have known what to expect.

Also loved Dakich's question "Do you think you were fired unfairly?".  What coach is going to say "Yeah, I suck" to that?  Every coach will point to a success and their willingness to improve.  Crean seemed to waver on that like he wanted to say yes.  My interpretation obviously.

I have honestly came to dislike Crean in a day. He has Dakich patrolling around saying he was fired unfairly and it was his agent that got the call not him. Crean him damn self said he told Glass he didnt want to meet with him because he knew what was gonna happen. How can you possibly blame Glass when you can't man up and face your boss? Now Dakich is going after the board of trustees on twitter and tagging them for people to complain to lol. I am done with Dakich and Crean after this. I really wanted Crean to go elsewhere and have a good life but not now. If I was Glass and since Crean is making him out to be an ******* I would act like one. I would tell him Riley isnt welcome on the baseball team. Maybe that will make Crean get it. He needs to move on

Crean seems like one of those guys you either really like or you really hate. It doesn't seem like many people are in the middle ground.

I wasn't in that group until today. He has burned some bridges with this unfair talk. Dakich just makes it worse for him.

I just don't think he's the great man people on here make him out to be. He carries himself well in public and knows what to say. But I've heard stories that would say otherwise in private. I also can't stand his way of speaking. None of it really makes sense and sounds like a bunch of bologna.

Honestly, he is always upbeat or he is crying about something. Makes for a good interview guy to get views. Once the IU name wears off on his name, it will be different.

ESPN is his best chance at restoring his reputation unless an NBA team takes him on as an assistant.

To be fair, in that first interview Crean did he said his agent texted him the night before asking if he was free to chat, intimating that the agent passed along on that call that the decision had been made. He then said Glass texted him the next morning just before he was leaving for his trip. So, I don't think he's changed the story at all, sounds like the agent was notified first.
