In all seriousness Crean has handled his firing like an adult and had a great attitude about it. Unlike Knight who decided to sulk and never set foot on campus, Crean attending the women's game and continuing to give interviews and be in the public eye in Bloomington shows what a great guy and classy person he is.

Crean didn't show up to get fired.

Knight held a presser on the lawn in front of the IMU.

Just a couple details in your post.

And then after Knight's presser he left, sulked and has been bitter since.

Not sure what you mean about Crean not showing up to get fired. I'm confused.

I wish him well and think he will do a great job at a school with lower expectations.

At this point I think Crean and Davis are more or less appreciated for their time in Bloomington even if it didn't end well and would receive a standing ovation if they ever came back to Assembly Hall.

Sampson on other hand would be booed off floor.

That's what real men with stones do.

Glass called him into his office for a meeting and Crean was like nahh I'll pass, I'm going on vacation.

Knight's firing and Crean's were two completely different situations and aren't very comparable imo.

I guess Crean needed a day to get over it and reflect. Even if he's bitter at Glass (which he may very well be) he has not less that bitterness spread to other fans and co-workers unlike Knight who held everyone involved with the university in low regard after he was fired.

I can tell you a certain job more or less got rid of me some years ago. I hold the one person who got rid of me in very low regard and have not talked to them since. However, I am still very grateful for my time there and overall hold no bitterness towards the company and have maintained some friendships with others to this day. This seems to be the way Crean is handling it which to me is the correct and classy way to do so unlike Knight.

I have no problem with Crean not meeting with Glass, he's was all ready to leave to go to Florida and I probably would've just went as well. I don't like that he hasn't spoken with Glass since, and I hope he doesn't shut out Archie, if Archie truly tries to contact him.

So you know he didn't speak with him @ the game?

At the very end of the interview the guy says Crean told him that he hasn't talked to Glass since before the firing.

Ok, thanks. I have a stream up and haven't checked it out.

Crean handled it like a pouting baby, and after Knights press conference he didn't owe the university a damn thing regardless of what some IU fans choose to believe.

Crean handled it like a pouting baby, Completely disagree.

after Knights press conference he didn't owe the university a damn thing Owe? I guess not. But Knight is the one who's been the crying, passive-aggressive, ingrate baby since he left.

That's fine but someone who won't even go meet face to face when he's failed to do his job is a pouting baby. Not to mention the countless years of excuses about why he was a failure at IU and not a single excuse was ever his fault. **** Crean.

How so? Because people keep saying he's coming back? If people wouldn't keep hounding the man he likely would never have said a word about it. That view is 100% on the fans who think he owes them something. I don't blame Knight one bit for how he's acted. Keep asking someone the same question over and over expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
