I have been around him a few times and have a good friend who works with Sr. Not sure where this crappy attitude stuff is coming from, but being in 8th grade and having scouts chase you around and Spiece Fieldhouse having your picture in their building, you would expect a lot worse at that age. Unbelievable to take shots at an 8th grader lol. Wow Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Yeah I don't know anything about him or what his attitude is like, just that he's only a middle schooler. If it was the case that he had a "bad" attitude I would chalk that up to him being a kid and the fact that 14 year olds can be immature, not to him having bad character. It wouldn't keep me from wanting us to recruit him, but it sounds like his attitude isn't even a concern in the first place. Yogi's Picnic Basket 1 Quote

gfunk69 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Is there an exception when coaches are hired/fired or players already committed since miller contacted smith, Durham, and Moore or are we about to get the death penalty while unc is playing in the championship? Quote

During a dead period we can't have face to face. You can phone or text. During the previous quiet period you could communicate with upcoming college bound players.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Not sure CAM has met with them in person yet for them to receive their release Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Kepner 1 Quote

He's now got a coach that will actually run plays for him. He's gonna come back and excel under Archie. He'll be drafted 1st round in 2018 I like Blackmon more than just about anyone on this site and there is a zero percent chance of him going in the first round. Blackmon is gonna shineHe would also be a Senior with multiple knee injuries that lacks the ability to play consistent defense. Offensively he is fine, but there is limited upside. No chance of a 1st.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app lillurk, Crimson and Cream and thebigweave 3 Quote

It's very possible that Blackmon didn't want to play any defense because it wasn't stressed as that big a deal under Crean. Coaching makes a huge difference and Archie is gonna do just that Quote

I think it's likely that his commitment to defense will improve with Archie, but I definitely won't be holding my breath. incrediboy and thebigweave 2 Quote

As well as how him being a senior with multiple knee injuries will cost him. There are limitations that players such as Yogi have/had. Not saying he can't make a team, but he will not be a 1st rounder.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Barnett 13, thebigweave, moyemayhem and 5 others 8 Quote

JBJ is a first rounder. And on and on and on and on. Got it. Despite seemingly popular opinion on the board, the NBA does play defense, and JBJ would be a massive liability on the floor trying to guard the elite scorers of the NBA. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app NBA absolutely plays defense. Anyone who says they don't is not very intelligent. Just wait and see man. Blackmon is gonna be great his senior season. I've not been the biggest Blackmon fan because I don't think he's given 100% effort up to this point. But now he has a coach that not just him but the whole team can get behind. Just wait and see Quote
