We'll have a battle for Ryan Taylor, so hopefully he is partial to staying in state.  Since he's from Gary, I hope he doesn't go up to Purdue either.

He has over 2 dozen teams interested in his sevices. It will definitely be tough competitiion. Have to think he's wanting to play for a winner in his last season.

Are Vick and Newman pro prospects? Don’t see them in the top 60 on any mock drafts. That fares well with Romeo.

Neither is considered a first round prospect according to mock drafts that have been done by espn and nbadraft.net as of right now.

They both have a few years of eligibility left. Add them, the two incoming recruits and the Lawson bros I don't see how everyone is happy there.

I'll add this too: Bill Self really hasn't had too many one and dones. Wiggins, Embiid, and Josh Jackson. Seems like he has had a lot of busts. Josh Selby, Xavier Henry, Diallo, etc... He takes chances on guys like Thomas Robinson who are role players at first and then develop into All-Americans. It works, just I think it hurts their case with Romeo.

Someone is guaranteed to leave because they are already over signed by one. Even if Vick and Newman both left that would still be a lot of guys that would be wanting the basketball imo. I don't think that would benefit Romeo at all.

I was looking into that just last night and thought the same thing to myself. Also, listening to Matt Jones on his radio show this morning. He is saying something isn’t right at Vandy bc of obvious reasons. Thought that was kinda funny as well

Azuibuke wouldn't make any sense imo. He is a center in a draft that I loaded with bigs. Next year he could be a guaranteed first rounder this year he would be lucky to get drafted but who knows.

Had a sincere conversation with UofL educated Kentucky fans a few weeks back. Respectfully asked them if they truly believed Cal was clean. They all emphatically replied yes. Even despite the violations at Umass and Memphis? Yes. Even despite the absurd recruiting classes? Yes. Even despite the current FBI investigation where everyone landing 5 stars is implicated? Yes.

Cal doesn’t need to cheat they said. I had to walk away.
