Shout out to Oregon doing this without Boucher. Florida with Ebgunu and Xavier without their starting backcourt at the beginning. All made Elite Eight or further without their best players. Sorry Mr. Crean it can be done though.

Yeah don't tell Crean that teams can still win without star players. He'll scoff at ya cause he's such a great basketball mind...

These teams accomplished what they did because their coaches are winners. Crean is a loser. Winners embrace challenges. Losers make excuses. Winners keep winning because they can adjust; losers fail because they can't or don't want to.

Lol yup. Any great team takes a step back and honestly your best player is a hard loss but you have to coach guys up to be able to step up. Bell has been awesome since Boucher went out. Hayes has been great when Ebgunu went down. Goodin with Xavier tho they had more time to get it together. Oregon has dudes tho so. Brooks and Dorsey as well as Bell they were one team that could do it without a hiccup.

I mostly agree with this, so Miller doesn't have an excuse not to win right away, correct?

I've seen several people mention "give him a chance" but I expect results right away.

I do expect results right away. IU should compete for the B1G championship next year

Credit Oregon for some of the offensive sharpness (and certainly the shooting accuracy), but Kansas' gap coverage on defense was shoddy/sloppy way too much for a Regional Final. Some of the penetrations they gave up midway through the 2H, and their ball screen defense, were not Final Four quality. It's hard to break those habits. They broke them against MSU, and MSU didn't have the firepower to take advantage of some of the openings. But KU was more determined to prevent openings in that game than they were in this game. They were more of one mind on defense in that game.

This UF vs USC game is awesome. Good offense against good defense mostly every possession. Little sloppy at times but man both teams team defense is outstanding.

Its a conference game, it should be fierce. While the SEC is spending the weekend at the Garden, maybe they can 'expand their brand' and take Rutger off our hands.

I want Mike to get a final four but with an elite eight already they have had enough success the last decade. Would like to see Frank Martin in the final four. Whoever wins this game beats the Zags IMO. The team defense is outstanding. Both play with the grit it takes too. I think Oregon makes it from the other side. Dorsey and Bell as well as Brooks are all clicking at the same time.

I hope this is the year the Zags win. Really don't want UK, UNC, UK to add another one. And it certainly seems likely one of those three will.

Want a blue blood to win. You need villains and tyrannies in sports.

Great game--defensive slugfest--back and forth--last one with ball may win. I would personally love to see South Carolina pull it out.

I am in the ABK camp--Anybody But Kentucky. Can't stand UNC either so it would make my day to see South Carolina or the Zags cut down the net this year.
