Those are the causal IU basketball fans. The Die Hards are here. I hate to say it but I don't think the casual fans follow much else IUBB wise than the actual games themselves.

If you are on this message board you are a die hard. There are far more casual fans then there are die hards it just seems like there are more die hards because we are here posting between each other. It's like when you go to college since you are surrounded by others going so you assume everyone goes to college in reality it is a very small number compared to people who do not attend college. As a mailman on my route I run into very few diehards when it comes to IU. A ton of casual IU fans ( young and old) and most are only concerned about what happens season to season ( no recruiting). It's funny walking on my route after a loss sucks because everyone knows how diehard I am and it seems almost every customer ask about it and my thoughts. Wayne u might be surprised how many older fans (60 or older still pull for crean) at least on my route in Martinsville. I've done my part over the years of telling anyone that would listen on my route that he was not the answer moving forward. I will be interested to see how these casual fans opinions will chance moving forward

He had trouble today in the first half! That second shot clock violation, he about lost it. I think he said something along the line of, oh come on guys, dead all inbound you knew how much was on the clock!
