Someone who brings in young men of character and integrity with steely determination, focus, intelligence and grit. An evening listening to Bob Knight's take on any subject is a night well spent.

Certainly. Minus the 90's

Hard to separate the man from the coach, when the man caught as many headlines as the coach it seems.

Most interesting aspect of this to me is the timing. We may have a new coach in place by then. Not a huge fan of the man, but I'm a big fan of mending broken relationships.

It's a good book. I can't imagine many modern coaches live up to RMK standards with what he says. The game has changed. By game I mean AAU, one and done. Which by what I said always turns into this drawn out discussion that leads down a rabbit hole that leads to the next RMK discussion. I do feel better knowing UCLA still holds on to the dream of John Wooden. I don't feel as bad knowing that.

I see this as maybe a softening of his never to IU stance or just maybe that after we oust Crean; this is a sign from above that we will return to greatness. Wishful thinking probably and it won't make or break any of us, but I envision one day where he does come back. We can rename something for him, and I could see all of his players also returning for a very special day. The curse will end some day; just ask a Red Sox or Cubs fan.
