Popular Post Bowhunter Posted February 5, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 5, 2017 He has been playing his butt off.. Just wanted to give him props for bringing it. I was tough on him in the beginning, but have seen lots of improvement. Yes he still has stuff to work on, but he deserves some credit for his recent play . BUT, he had 5 TO's; how many points did those give Wisky? Quote
AKHoosier Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I've been tough on him as well, but he's played pretty well these past 2 games. He hit some big shots today. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
hoosha61 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 His O has improved greatly, but that bad/lazy pass attempt to Deron that led to the Happ dunk killed us. That was really bad. Alford Bailey 1 Quote
seanmm1971 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 If, he can maintain his play if/when James comes back we could make a run.(maybe wishful thinking)Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 He's filled the scoring void I expected Rojo to fill when Blackmon went down. He still drives me crazy out there most of the time, but at least he's scoring now. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Newkirk from time to time is good but once in awhile he make some poor decisions but you have to give him credit for the shot made against PSU as the clock was winding down. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 He's scored better the last few games but his overall game hasn't improved. He still makes bad mistakes on defense with overhelping and leaving shooters open. On offense he makes passes that are bad angles, timing, or just shouldn't be attempted. He is what he is and isn't the answer from us being a bad B1G team to a great B1G team. ebridges24, Class of '66 Old Fart, cthomas and 1 other 4 Quote

That was really bad.Terrible pass yes. But why are we trying to throw the ball to Davis 20 ft from the basket? With two feet in the paint he was scoring at will. And we just go away from it. Davis isn't quite as comfortable out there yet. Put guys in position to utilize their strengths that is what a good coach would do. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app reconmkd 1 Quote

Indiana doesn't have a good coach... it has Tom Crean. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
