That is interesting. Went to the comments for that tweet and Fish also said he wanted to go down on the floor and set them straight. Fish is rarely critical of the current coach so he may not have been overly critical in this comment but if so that is not good

If Fisch says so I believe it. I don’t know if the tweeter is accurate. If true, this is very troubling. EDIT: Dakich retweeted this, and so apparently it is so. And that sucks.

Immediate eligibility could be a disaster for a bunch of teams and coaches, including our own.

This is why keeping Archie Miller around for another year is pointless. Dakich called him out 2 years ago for being afraid to coach his players. He wasn't wrong.

Why out of curiosity do you say that? Has he developed a jumper in 2 years under this staff? If he hasn't done that by now why would it all of a sudden change? And that is what most think is the reason his stock isn't high. I'd argue he'd be better served going to the G-League and being developed there. The really isn't much he can do outside of that to increase his value. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

SCHEDULE CHANGE After defeating No. 21 Northwestern last night, Indiana's next game was scheduled to be Sunday at home against Michigan State. But the Hoosiers have flipped around its schedule a bit. Instead, Indiana's next game will be this Thursday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. ET against Ohio State. The game was previously scheduled for Feb. 4. [NOTE: Game to be televised on basic BTN.] This an ideal situation for Indiana, who likely didn't want a week off before its next contest. The Hoosiers had just had 11 days off before their game against Northwestern due to two games being postponed, and head coach Teri Moren has made it known she isn't a fan of the long breaks. So, now Indiana has two big home games this week. The Hoosiers are 9-3 overall and 7-1 in the Big Ten. Below is the full press release from the program: The Big Ten Conference has announced two schedule changes for the Indiana women’s basketball team for the upcoming week. The Hoosiers will now host No. 17/16 Ohio State on Thursday, January 28 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in a game that was previously scheduled for Thursday, February 4th. Game time is set for 8 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network. In addition, IU’s game against Michigan State has been set for a 4 p.m. ET tip on Big Ten Network Plus for Sunday, January 31st also at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Yep, Crean did more pre-IU than Archie, and Crean did more at IU than Arch. You used to occasionally see the pro-Arch folks mention all the woe-is-he stories about what he inherited...which was light years ahead of what Crean inherited. By year four Crean had a great team. By the time he was run out of town the well had been poisoned with Crean, but folks who were mad about one disappointing tourney exit and some volatility would do well to consider the extent to which that was a self-fulfilling prophecy based on the reaction to the Syracuse game and the following (Vonleh) year. Those were both disappointing but not disqualifying. So he got run out of town for a “defense first” guy who “recruits the state...” and then what?

I believe she was referring to the below the belt shots that are being sent directly to the players from fans. I looked at her page, and that topic has been brought up a few times. Why dm a player, why? Smh!

Archie may really benefit from an empty AH. I know we hate boo birds at home but those have often depicted the mood of the fan base amidst a too tolerant admin. ADs don’t like dealing with those Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Calipari has also said it isn't about winning. It is about getting these kids to the NBA. Personally, except for our players getting to further play what they love to do, I haven't watch one IU NBA player since Isaiah played. Quit watching after Jordan, Bird, Johnson, Jabar, McHale and that generation play. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Top shelf recruiter at just the right time. We've positioned ourselves to compete for higher level recruits to continue the upward trajectory of the program. Experience coaching at big time programs. Always a plus. Air Force Academy graduate, dude is smart. Can't speak to his x's and o's or calling a defense, but as said above, he's smart. If CTA believes in him that's good enough for me. Go Hoosiers
