I don't think that's a healthy attitude. I'm sure it's much healthier to be emotionally invested in the decisions of 17/18 year old kids and to hang on every word and action .

This is the only time ever I have been able to listen to how a recruitment was going. Never had any inside info on anything before. You can thank Walsh for this commitment when it happens. BM's girlfriend is going to IU as well, not that it makes a difference. Everything I heard after this weekend made me think IU will be getting their remaining wish list. He also loves Dusty, Michigan not so much. Won't hear from me on this subject anymore. Go IU!

I understand what you're saying, and don't know anything about Mullins feelings but you're using what "Locked On UConn’s" Mark Zanetto said as confirmation to what you've said previously. I have no idea where the rumor is coming from or who you know that is saying he doesn't like Woody much, but a UCONN guy saying he won't go to IU "...if he doesn’t feel comfortable with IU’s staff" is pretty obtuse or as general of a statement as one could make and most likely based on fans apathy or distain for Woody last year, not any real insider information. In other words this just sounds like this guy repeating the negative recruiting rumors previously mentioned. But like I said, I don't know anything more than what's been mentioned online.

Looks like Goode is going to try and get an extra year after this season, hoping to get a medical waiver from his Sophomore season.

Braden Smith is the best player in the B1G without Edey? He's a good player but the best in the conference? Reality without Edey will be hard for Purdue and all the sports writers making picks as though Edey is still there.

It definitely wouldn't surprise me or offend me if Galloway did start. However I expect he'll be the sixth man. Tucker is going to play big minutes though. That kid is a gamer.

On the Rothstein podcast, Woody states that Jakai has "been in and out a little bit" over the summer. Also ... Woody not the first to say so; that Gabe Cupps has made a real jump. Also said Goode has played extremely well over the summer.

That's a pretty good draw for a team that could use the boost in SoS. First game should be imminently winnable. Then either win-lose or lose-win would be decent outcomes and give us a solid resume. Of course winning the whole thing would put us firmly in the top 10 until the new year most likely. Of course losing to Lville then losing to WVU and barely squeaking by Dayton/Providence/OU would have fans on suicide watch. Either way, I like the draw. You have to test yourself against good teams if you want to be good.

That was kind of my reaction but this isn't last year's squad. With this squad, we should expect to win, that's hard for me to do based on where we've been coming into this season, but imo we should be expecting W's. It's on Woodson to deliver them, now.

I don't know how they are but we need to beat them in that first game since the strength of our schedule (as it appears now) relies almost entirely on seeing Gonzaga and Arizona in that tournament.

I would think that having the #3 frontcourt and #14 backcourt would make this a top 10 team. There must be some reason it isn't. I wonder what that could be.

Stopped reading before the bolded part below? That season they were almost dead last in how often they took 3-point shots. They were 352nd in attempts per game. That squanders the good shooting as shown by being only 334th in makes despite being 48th in percentage.
