B1G Rankings Roundup - Week 2

    • Every Monday we take a look at how Big Ten teams fair in the newly released AP and Coaches Polls.

With college basketball season back in the swing of things, we are going to bring back the Rankings Roundup. This is a feature that looks into the rankings of Big Ten Teams and charts them from week to week.

What do you think of the new rankings? Do you think it's surprising Indiana is still not ranked in the AP poll? Currently they were #27 in voting.

I thought they had a chance to break the AP but I'm not surprised it didn't happen. They'll probably have to win the tournament in MSG to make the top 25.

Not enough national attention to get ranked by the AP yet..... Hope we turn some heads this weekend. I actually dont mind not being ranked yet. This group of freshman have the rest of the season to prove themselves without the burden of expectations.

Rankings are worthless and a waste of time. The only two that count are conference championships and NCAA titles.


But what else Can people bicker about every Monday afternoon? We gots to have our rankings!!

(I feel you. They don't matter at all in basketball, but it is nice to see and follow the big ten teams as a good conference helps with our seeding come March. As we know from the last two seasons, your draw can make or break your season. Kentucky, Syracuse... Ugh.
