Besides Dorn is not coming back and Enright has no eligibility, before he disappeared he was bemoaning who we were going after saying we're going to end up with "scraps" again, as if we had no money. Wrong on both. Then he reappears after all the action to post what multiple people have already said or odd takes like this.. He's mildly entertaining but hasn't really provide much unique info. Seems to be friendly with Tyme who I think gives him some "scraps" every now and then to stir up some dust.

I think he just says things to be abrasive but whether he means it or not, Dorn should not be anywhere near this team. He’s a good guy and I wish him well but he’s not a very good basketball player. He was an extremely streaky shooter who caught a two week heater and had some big scoring games because of it. They can find a capable shooter who can also play competent defense, rebound, and dribble, which are three things I’m not confident dorn can do (at least at the requisite level to succeed in the big ten)

I love the 1, 4, and 5 spots. I'm not as bullish about the 2 and 3. I think Jaeden is solid. I like Bryce as a depth piece. He flashed a little but was MIA too much this past season. Darren just couldn't get any run. I know Duke was talented, but only averaging less than 10 minutes a game makes me think he's not reliable starter material. Maybe a fine depth piece though. Considering the vast improvements I can’t complain much, but what little I can I'll devote to wishing we had another high quality wing.

Hear ya, but it looks like last year just showed a reset was needed. Maybe with evals from Carr and DDV and the effort to go after players with more than 1 yr left. These guys are all high major recruits and much needed at this level. So anyway I'm fine with letting the continuity grow from here.

National Champs

Last week, people were talking about Dorn possibly starting next year. Now we’re talking about getting someone as good or better to be somewhere around the 9th man. Crazy.

I personally would've been fine keeping those 3. I think we needed some continuity more than just Sisley. Hopefully next off-season starts that trend!

Speaks to our staff's ability to connect with guys. Obviously money helps. But to be able to lock down a guy in 24 hours who had other good suitors speaks volumes. KJ's relationship helped a ton I'm sure; but Devries obviously has some sort of sauce to be able to close quickly on a guy he didnt have a relationship with.
