Cal and the NBA

Recommended Posts

Lots a rumors going around about Calipari and the NBA. I personally don't believe he'd leave UK but after watching ESPN it seems there are many out there that think if the right job opened up with the chance to win a title immediately and he wins it all this year, he'd jump all over it. Given this, I pose the following question to BtownBanners

Would you rather Cal go undefeated and win it all this year followed by a departure to the NBA?

ORRRR

Cal lose in the tourney this year and stay in the college game?

I have thought about this around Tournament time every year since he was hired at UK.

I would rather he win and bail.

This question was posed awhile back. My vote would be for him to lose this year and leave anyway. In addition, he would be found guilty of numerous violations while at UK, forcing them to vacate everything they won while he was there. All of their players would  leave and they would be stripped of every scholarship for the next five years, forcing them to play nothing but walk-ons. Their season ticket holders would be forced to keep their tickets, required by law to attend every game start to finish, and every UK fan would be ordered by the government to watch every game start to finish and write a 5 page essay recapping the game and what their program needs to do to compete at the D-1 level.

I wouldn't want to be the one attempting to read those essays.

UK is not good basketball.  They not play well cuz they not have players who can put ball in da hoop.  They past da ball to oder team 2.  Why do dat?

The way our luck has been going he wins it, bails, Billy D doesn't say no a third time, Marshall goes to Florida, Archie goes to Bama, and Brad and Tracy build a new house in Hyannis Port.

that's a wickehhhd awful setup...

I want Cal and UK to lose...can't have the streak end.

His name gets brought up EVERY summer for the NBA. He won't leave, why would he? Just because NBA executives believe so? lol

He has it made at UK, top recruits, supportive fan base, etccccccccccc

He'll stay, though i will say that he won't win the title this year. It's Bo's and Frankie's title this year
