Webber proceeds to extol the hustle play by Gillespie. The Providence kid literally outhustled him to the ball. But he’s not the kid with the name.

I’m excited for Shaka to get canned and get a mid-major rolling again. His gimmick was never going to work at the higher levels, but his VCU teams were fun. 

Needs to go back to the A10 or something. That kind of thing will work at small schools.

I’m excited for Shaka to get canned and get a mid-major rolling again. His gimmick was never going to work at the higher levels, but his VCU teams were fun. 

Looking likely to make NCAA now. Beat Beard AT Texas Tech. Rumored desired coach to be Beard. Huge win for Shaka.

Been running errands all day. Just got home. Upset Saturday today huh? Every higher ranked team that’s played today has lost except for Seton Hall. Goodness. March Madness is gonna be bonkers.

With a 71-60 loss to Illinois State today, Evansville finishes 0-18 in Missouri Valley play.  On November 12, the Purple Aces beat No. 1 Kentucky, 67-64.  They are the first team in NCAA history to beat the AP No. 1 team and lose all of their conference games in a single season.

Given the $$ at stake for the NCAA, it would have to become a genuine national emergency before they'd consider such a step.
