I’m not worried. Duke and Kentucky have built dynasties off these rules and proceedings. IU is fine and I’m happy we are trying to win basketball games. Finally have real hope that we can get to championship level basketball soonish. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

This happens all the time, breaks no rule, and is honestly just scratching the surface of some of the stuff that goes on. I would have the same take if it was UK, UL, PU, whoever because we're dealing with facts.

I admittedly don’t pay much attention to non-IU targets but I see there is a DJ Jeffries at #16. He must be a target going forward on name alone. I would say the same for a player named Calbert Moye or Uwe Graham. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

An even playing field is all I'm looking for. I don't want a leg up on schools. I don't want any kind of unfair advantage. I'm just tired of IU bringing a knife to a gun fight.

So, the Washington Post’s breaking news is that Tim Langford’s AAU team that was established 16 months ago — to everyone’s knowledge — was sponsored by Adidas. i can’t wait for tomorrow’s headline about Neil Armstrong landing on the moon.

As has been mentioned, even Al Durham’s dad runs an AAU team. The only thing different here is that Romeo is a better player. why is this a story

Just saw a great tweet that Pitino is so knowledgeable about Romeo's recruitment but totally ignorant on what went on with Brian Bowen or the hookers.

Oh geez ... I thought you meant RealIU had a PU board handle! Strom can say anything he wants on the PU board - him and mdn should go have an in ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon and some wings together and make peace IMO. It stresses out my tender feelings when two A+ posters have a snit-tiff! ;)

Most bankruptcies are paid back in 4-5 yrs. No flags there. C'mon guys, answer to me how do all of these AAU teams travel to all of these tournaments all spring and summer? Sent from my SM-G930P using BtownBanners mobile app

I think IU should drop Adidas for Etnies.

RealIU is fascinating to me. I think they do have some info. I believe it. The reasoning behind the angst being shown is a mystery to me. I think it comes down to, RealIU thinks we are wanting Juwan to come back to IU versus what is best for him. HOWEVER, in this case, it’s mostly untrue. I, personally, and much of the board will congratulate any player leaving early if they are drafted in the first round. The guys that get drafted in the second round leaving early will get mixed reviews for good reason. For some it’s the right decision and for others it isn’t. The ones that leave early and don’t get drafted gets way more complicated. I think ALL on here want the best for Juwan and I think most are hoping he comes back and has a killer year and makes it to a point he can be drafted. For these reasons, I fail to see why RealIU has such angst towards us fans. A few fans are knuckleheads and want lottery picks to return to school..... But look at OG...... IU fans here were very congratulatory and understanding of him leaving when he did (as an example). Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

HovaHugs have changed from the Tom Crean era of shotgun HovaHugging, where he ended up hugging the likes of Grant Gelon, to the Archie Miller era, where he saves those Hugs for coveted Hug-ees!

They can do that in any trade actually. The difference is KD was a free agent, Chris Paul wasn’t.

I get everyone wants to just blow this off and pretend it’s nothing, but it’s not great with the backdrop of Sean Miller, FBI Investigation, and Adidas. I get that it’s “legal”, but it can very quickly cross the line. Also, it’s never just one thing, in my opinion. Let’s just get to the start of the season and enjoy Romeo before the NCAA decides to get tough on these kinds of things. Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners

Jonathan Givony‏Verified account @DraftExpress Just saw Purdue guard Carsen Edwards walking by in the hotel lobby of the NBA Combine decked out in Under Armour gear. Pretty safe to say he scored a last minute invite to Chicago due to the late withdrawals.

I'm pretty sure he is but also sure he feels more confident about Watford right now than Brooks.
