My guess.

Newkirk
JBJ
Rojo
OG
Bryant

Bench order Morgan (3-5), (CuJo (1-3), DD (4-5)), McSwain (3-4), Green (1-3)

Priller and Gelon in spots.
Hartman really hurts our depth quite a bit considering we have Priller and Gelon on roster.

10 guys. They need to stay healthy.

I would much rather (I think) run 2 G 3 F lineups IF McSwain is effective as a defender and rebounder.

TB, OG, Mc, DD, JMo for 3 spots

5 guards for 2 spots.

Mathematically half of the game with 2/3 and half 3/2 makes sense if all deserve PT. McSwain was be a big part of that puzzle. If he isn't ready we will see a steady diet of 3 guard sets.

I guess a positive to this is that the new guys will quickly learn the "position less" basketball played under Crean for the following season. CuJo and Green will get used to guarding bigger wings and McSwain and JMo will get to guard a range of smaller wings/guards and bigger post players.

Agree with Wayne and Aloha...

Newkirk
Jimmy
Rob
OG
Tom

I think the first three coming off the bench (De'ron, Cujo, and Juwan) are going to be *awesome* and if we get solid minutes out of Fred Mac and/or Green that's just gravy. I get this vibe with Cujo that he's going to be an absolute monster sooner than later.

I (and many here) are going to love this team. I can feel it.

Depending how far along he is why not start him and have the more versatile JMo coming in as the first big off the bench.

Like you posted, we'll see both the bigger wings (JMo, McSwain, and OG) and the smaller guards (RoJo, JBJ, CuJo, and Green) covering wings.

Im excited to see Davis play too, I think he can help this team out big time. Honestly all of the new guys are going to be fun to see develop. OG though is gonna be a beast of a player

He made some kind of jump:

He jumped to IU, to a running team, to Lionel's conditioning program, to Yogi as his mentor, to Tom Crean's offense, and to Hoosier Nation.

He made a huge jump.

That doesn't necessarily mean he'll make the jump to starting point guard on the future B1G and National Champ Hoosiers. I think he'll be a good backup though.

True. I'm hopeful for a Max level jump. Maybe that's greedy I don't care.

It really is amazing how a change of system can help a player. Michigan fans were glad to see him go. A guy we don't win the Big Ten without was kicked off his previous team for all intents and purposes.

Different sport obviously, but look at former Purdue QBs Etling and Appleby. They were terrible at Purdue and now they're both starting at major SEC football schools. Not saying Pitt basketball is anywhere near as horrible of a program as Purdue football - just pointing that sometimes the system is the problem.

I'd like to have Newkirk come off the bench, ideally, but I think we need his speed in the starting 5. So, like others have said:

Newkirk, JBJ, Robert, OG, & Bryant.

A nice blend of quickness and size

6th man: Juwan Morgan

Bench: Deron, CuJo, Green

I'm excited to see how Newkirk and McSwain are integrated. I really don't want to see a three guard starting lineup. If RoJo has made the leap to a steady point I'd bring Newkirk off the bench.
