Sam_Boger Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Collin Hartman injured his left knee in a non-contact drill in practice Tuesday. That's per IU. #iubb- @ZachOsterman Per a release, Hartman, "will continue to be evaluated and his condition will be updated at an appropriate time." #iubb- @ZachOsterman Quote
Trish Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Here we go again.. This hurts are depth. The most realistic rotation? RoJo/Josh/Green Blackmon/Jones/ OG/Freddie Davis/Morgan Byrant/Davis Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Dislike strongly. Freddie McFly time. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Medical redshirt. No one leaves next year. Don't even have to deal with recruiting. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Str8Hoosiers and BtownBanner6 2 Quote

ccgeneral Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Same knee he tore his ACL back in '14? Quote
Brass Cannon Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Oh god that's bad. Thank god we have some depth. Hope he's better soon though. Quote

FWIW - Osterman tweet: No. ACL tear in 2014 was in his right knee, per program. This is the left knee. ccgeneral, LIHoosier, Brass Cannon and 2 others 5 Quote
HoosiersLoveBanners Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I hope it's not serious... If it is, I will view it as a glass half full situation. TB and OG are locks to leave and we all know JBJ will be itching if he shows up this year. Colin would be a great guy for 17-18 team if he has to use the medical redshirt. We are loaded this year even without him but maybe not as much next year depending on how the 17 class turns out. Just my .02 if it's a season ender. Still hope he's ok, though. WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 We sure seem to be an injured bunch. I hope for the best and really feel bad for CH. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote
KB0 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 No timetable for return, correct? Best case scenario: is that it's a sprain, meniscus, or MCL/LCL. Worst case scenario: ACL. Collin is a smart player who can stretch the defense at the 4 spot and does a lot of dirt work. Wish him a speedy recovery. Quote
ElectricBoogaloo Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Non contact knee injuries seem to always be ACL tears but I sincerely hope not. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 We have not even played a game yet and a player is already hurt. Quote
Lt. John McClaine Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I wonder when we will get a definitive answer? When JBJ tore his it seemed like we had to wait a week to find out the severity. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

HoosiersLoveBanners Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 If it wasn't serious, they wouldn't have announced anything. I would assume the worst case scenario Lt. John McClaine 1 Quote
Trish Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Did they even announce it was an ACL for james last November? All i remember is them announcing james would miss the rest of the season with a "knee" injury. I know James confirmed it was an ACL in April. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
