My experience is this pitch above needs to be carefully done. If it doesn't work on the spot, you're in trouble. Ole Miss staff pushed bc they didn't want him seeing anywhere else not because they have a bunch of studs lining up in the spring lol

Kinda like a car salesman who starts with "This is our best offer" and then calls you back the next day to see if free rust-proofing would bring you back to the showroom! lol

He seems like a good kid, gave a nice interview.

So is the consensus that we want him?  Tell me what to think haha.

It'd be nice to have a 6'10" kid committed so Wilkes would be assured he wouldn't be playing the 4, and I don't think we have much of a chance we have with any of the other bigs we're going after like Billy Preston and Deng Gak.

Clifton Moore is one of the prospects that escaped me this summer. Had offers from Ole Miss, St. John's & others. Heard really good things.

Clifton Moore is a late-blooming skilled forward. More of a long-term stock for the Hoosiers but one with definite potential.

Cautiously optimistic here too. His skillset is very rare. Could end up being another super surprise. He seems like an awesome kid to boot. The way I see it, 1 or 2 schollies left to play around with now.

Yes!

This is why I'm a fan:

Unusual skill set (6'10" with a plus handle and range) and a great kid.

You can build strength, but ya can't build height in a young player.

ITH article says coach Chuck M was watching him all summer very quietly so that no one would see our interest and join the hunt. I like that a lot too.
