Like other said in this thread he has grown up in Btown and just wants to gets out supposedly. Do his own thing and go somewhere else. I see him going to toledo, UK, UL, or Pittsburgh. They are all going after. I could see us trying to get him if we don't get another RB in near future. But as of right now I think the coaches got the picture and respect his decision. Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 I was ecstatic to get this kid, but Ronnie Walker looks like a Mike Hart clone just a little lighter. If I had to choice it would be the guy that is committed already. Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I’ve been told by a former teammate that he lost some of his motivation for football and wants to pursue some other ventures more than football, but still has interest in playing? Kind of a weird situation, but he basically pushed everyone away that was recruiting him. I think he’s into filmography or photography, or something like that. Doesn’t seem like a bad kid or anything, just maybe a little lost. mamasa 1 Quote

Feel like he could have used one of the institutions recruiting him to get access to top of the line education in those areas, but good luck to him! Better to recognize and make this decision now than regret it later. Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Seems weird to me that he graduated early to go to a community college in Arizona, but whatever makes him happy I suppose. Quote

If he's into videography or photography the southwest wouldn't be a bad place to explore! Maybe has family or friends there. Kudos to the kid for realizing he doesn't want big time college football, at this time. Aren't we all a "little lost" and trying to find ourselves? barrettballer Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 From what I’ve been told from people that work for Bloomington South football team is that he was holding out for an Iowa offer cause he is friends with Tyrone Tracy and it never came. So that mixed with the filmography could be why he’s at a community college. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Semi-Odd eh screw it very odd lol, but I think in the long run Hoosier fans will be happy. Funny how things always bring you back home. He wanted to get out of Bloomington that’s why he backed out of IU. Everyone thought it was UK all the way. Well they had a few athletes join. He took too long....then I believe due to injuries and poor senior year...some school reserved the right to take others and he was an early enrolle. So he went out to Pima and it sucks that a program is being dissolved but hey the coaches had to at least still see something or saw hey let’s get him in here with ballou and rhea....and see if we can get him back into the shape of things like his junior year. He’s not the flashiest running back...some people say he was deemed too slow....I saw him play his junior year in person....kids pretty athletic and built....and he’s pretty fast. Not 4.3 or 4.4 but I’d say 4.55 or 4.6. Get him in the weight and speed room and ballou and rhea will fix that. I like our backfield for the future 3-4 years MemphisHoosier, HoosierAloha, Hoosier Roots and 5 others 8 Quote
