mdn82 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 What grudge? What way am I being to you? Yes, sometimes a 2-14 team is as bad as a 1-15 team. What grudge? Lol ok dude. I didn't know you were 2-14 though. If you get there then we can talk. Problem is you guys would have to completely be horrendous at both ends of the ball for the next 9 games to be in the convo. The 2-14 team a few years ago? They were up there. This team? You still have a semi competent QB which those two teams did not have. You still have ok receivers and running back. Your whole defense and offensive line is pretty terrible. To me as an unbiased fan it isn't even close. You guys aren't even in the top 3 worse teams this year. That '91 team was an all time bad team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Josh Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I don't have a grudge toward you at all. No reason to. If you feel one, it's only on your side.As for final record, we'll see I guess. I don't see any more wins Quote

I'm not sure we have a choice, we might want to try to claim it as a tank job lol Quote
Josh Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Early game on right now, Vikings vs Browns. Apparently Case Keenum has only been sacked 4 times this year. Man, can you imagine? Quote

Shining example of pathetic front office management, sad thing is it seems like the company I work for got management lessons from the Browns. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Article out today from Zak Keefer - Indpls. Star: 2 Years Later, Andrew Luck's Shoulder Still Isn't Fixed https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2017/10/31/2-years-later-andrew-lucks-shoulder-still-isnt-fixed/818114001/ In the article, Keefer states Luck has missed 18 of the Colts' last 37 games and it's looking more and more likely he'll not see any action at all this season. Regardless if it's the Colts or any other NFL team, at what point do you say we can't hang our hat on this guy any longer? Is he simply too fragile for the NFL? Is he an incredibly slow healer? If you're a GM facing this situation, what do you do? Josh 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 They were celebrating getting McCarron for a second and a third round pick? The guy hasn't thrown a pass in meaningful minutes in the last two years. What the heck is wrong with that organization. Dalton is at best an average QB in the NFL, and the Browns were celebrating getting his back up. Man, nobody in that organization has an eye for talent. mdn82 1 Quote

If you're a GM facing this situation, what do you do? Interesting case. I see him being like a Carson Palmer and being better once he gets out of Indy. Depending on medical evals I guarantee the Browns would give the #1 overall for him. It would take more, but maybe a fresh start is what both need. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Colts placing Luck on IR. Show of hands - how many didn't see this coming? Ballard: Decided recently to see other docs and consensus was continued rehab, stay patient. Shoulder is subjective. Everybody rehabs a diff way. Ballard: Not heard from one doctor that it's career ending. Doing everything we can to have a chance to have a long term career. Ballard: Right now, strictly rehab, not another procedure. Ballard: Luck very frustrated, very competitive, cares about teammates and organization. Ballard: Think we'll see a better Andrew down the line given a full year to recover. Ballard: We were all optimistic, and Irsay was very optimistic it would work out, but everybody's body is different. Ballard: We'll take the approach that Luck is going to be there come training camp, or early. Ballard: OK with the way we handled the QB situation. Didn't want to overpay for momentary satisfaction. Nobody out there who we thought could help us right away. Ballard: Important for players to know they're not going to be rushed back before they're ready to play. Ballard: Gonna take a little different approach to rehab this time around. Capt. Andrew Luck @CaptAndrewLuck 3m3 minutes ago Dearest mother — My campaign has ended. Whoozhers Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 To play now would’ve been suicide by nfl. If I were Luck, I wouldn’t play until they got a front line to protect me. I just hope he’s not out forever.I feel sorry for Jacoby. He’s in my prayers. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Meh, not really surprised. Guess the question is do we go offensive lineman or EDGE rusher with our top 3/5 pick Quote
