Serious question, why did the B1G, Pac-12 and Big 12(only 10) think that 9 conference games plus a title game is a good idea? The $EC and A¢¢ have stayed on 8 conference games and get 1 team in and sometimes 2 in the playoff.

More game more money.

If UGA somehow beat Bama next week(assuming Bama beats Auburn) it would be Bama, UGA, Clemson, and ND. 2 $EC teams, 1 ACC team and 1 Indy/ACC-ish team.

No. Ohio State is firmly back in the conversation now. This is eerily similar to what they did four years ago. If they beat the crap out of Northwestern as well, they’re playing for the national championship

I agree, but it will probably require the loss of ND tonight, Oklahoma next week, or maybe a Clemson loss

It seems like the big ten has 3 or 4 teams ranked unrealistically high every season.  Like last week when our sh*tty team gave UM a good game, it was obvious they (UM) wasn't very good.  I don't follow college football very closely at all, but I use our team as a good barometer for how good the other BT teams are - if they don't beat us convincingly, they're probably not that good.

If Clemson loses one game, they’re out. Georgia isn’t getting in because they’re not beating Alabama. Oklahoma doesn’t have near as impressive a win. Ohio State is back in the conversation

Assuming all holds, rankings will be Bama, Clemson, ND, Oklahoma/Georgia, then OSU.  Unless. IMO, as long as 3 of the following win out, they will be left out: Clemson, ND, Oklahoma, Georgia, NW

Its the 9 game conference season. Most of the teams that are 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 would probably be one win better whether they scheduled a cupcake game or played a decent team that either isn't familiar with their opponent like a conference opponent would or are still learning about themselves as a team.
