Nice to see things staying about the same. Would be curious to see Boilers reaction to this start. He’s a level headed Purdue fanatic. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Terrible loss but I still have a lot of faith and confidence in Brohm. Have to bounce back next week. Quote

Frost committed the worst clock management malpractice I've seen in a long time. Then they got their QB hurt and a DB committed a completely idiotic play that gifted CU a huge first down that led to the winning TD. Painful. I could not believe the didn't let the play clock run down on each down late in the game while they were still ahead. Colorado would have been under a lot more pressure from the clock if Frost had worked the clock down. SMH! Quote
VPC Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Yeah, unfortunately I don't think one game is reflective of Brohm. I do delight in the loss especially due to the chant. "Bouncing back" against Mizzou looks to be a tough task. Hopefully the defensive miscues continue. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 The Athletic - BREAKING: Star @GopherFootball running back Rodney Smith out for the season, @JonKrawczynski reports. Minnesota's 7th all-time leading rusher. We face Minny on 10/26. Quote

It’s going to be an ugly season brought on by some dumb penalties at the end of games by their defense.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Magnanimous Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 So Purdue's upcoming games are Missouri, Boston College, @Nebraska, @Ilinois, Ohio State, @Michigan State, Iowa. They could potentially start the season 1-8. Then they finish the year with @Minnesota, Wisconsin, @IU. Purdue may be looking at a 1 win season with that slate. taco corp 1 Quote

ThompsonHoosier Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 I wouldn't be surprised to see Purdue end with 2 or 3 wins this season and losing some of their higher rated recruits. Quote

Doesn't make them top 5 worst when the criteria is program loyalty. List is flimsy and our fans should be on it, unfortunately.... Quote

I know it can certainly happen but a lot of these guys can see early playing time being available which is certainly attractive. Also, a lot of the higher-rated guys had offers from really good programs when they committed to Purdue. I could maybe see one or two leaving but that'd be probably the extent of it. Quote
