They're a good football team and the coaches and AP know this. They're currently ranked 2 in the country in both polls. Even if a team in the SEC, Big Ten, ACC and Big 12 go undefeated Cincy is still in just so long as they stay unbeaten. They still have currently ranked #19 SMU on the schedule, so we'll see what happens there. They also have to win their conference championship. A lot of football to be played for all of this to play out. Insert foot in mouth. Alford Bailey 1 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Georgia Bama Ohio St and no sure on the fourth yet Quote
Lebowski Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 OU, MSU, Wake and even Cincy can blow this whole thing up to force an expansion of the CFP. Assuming all those schools go undefeated I don't see how the committee would pass up 3 P5 schools over one loss schools like Oregon and/or Bama and Georgia. But then again, I also thought they'd have Cincy in the top 4 right now. Having said all that, I do think the top two schools in the country are indeed Georgia and Bama. Still a lot of football to be played though. Quote

That being said I would like an 8 team playoff. First round right before Xmas, 2nd around New Years and then the Natty. The 7 biggest bowls each rotate hosting one of the games. craigyv88 1 Quote
Demo Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Listening to Greg McElroy gush over Stetson Bennett like he’s Russell Wilson is embarrassing. I don’t talk about my kids this way. Quote

Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Kevin Wilson teaching defense at Wake? That's not the usual plan on how to get the ball back with 3 timeouts lol. Quote

I love watching Wake for the same reasons that the late Bill Lynch/early Kevin Wilson era got me addicted to IUFB. Complete chaos, games that lasted 5 hours, and a touchdown on every drive for both teams whether they were playing Ohio State or Southern Illinois. thebigweave 1 Quote

Does the committee take a two-loss 'Bama team? Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Though there are two-plus quarters to be played, Purdue looks as if it could beat the No. 3-ranked team three weeks after beating the No. 2 team. That bums me out. Rico 1 Quote
