Bo Pelini is reportedly interested in the Purdue job.

Pelini is a hell of a coach. I'm sure he would relish being able to face Nebraska every year. Can Purdoo afford Pelini and the quality of assistants he would require?

Not sure but if a coach like Pelini is interested you need to do whatever it takes imo. I love Pelini as a coach.

Baylor and W Virginia both go down today, so it appears that the Big 12(now with only 10 schools!) won't be in the Playoff.

The B1G will have 6 Friday night games next year, 3 conference and 3 non-conference. With the traditional powers resisting to this(O$U, Michigan, Penn St), I feel that we're gonna have at least 1 Friday game next year perhaps 2; 1 home and 1 away.

This is a horrible idea IMO. We already struggle to get fans in the stands and then we move games to Friday night? This seems like a novelty that won't work. Call me old fashioned but I don't like it.
