Best bet is to wait after their lottery is finalized tomorrow to see if there will be any CFP FV tickets, sounds like ND will do public sales on Thursday if it is necessary (appears a slim chance). Looking elsewhere, PSU tickets have dropped more to the $100 range compared to the $200 price yesterday, since more tickets are becoming available at Beaver Stadium due to general public tickets. CFP has the max tickets at $250, low of around $100.

• If those tickets are too expensive with fees? Those seats would go empty or sellers will reduce the price until they sell. But they clearly aren't priced too high because when the day is done, every one of those free market expensive seats will sell. 
• And if those fees are too high to enable sales? Another ticket service will undercut them on fees. But because they sell at the high prices, that doesn't happen.

I understand the price will be driven by the market. Whether stubhub charges 10% or 40%, the end price paid is likely to be the same. My issue is with the amount pocketed by stubhub, which is astronomical. A lot more money would otherwise be going into the hands of people selling the tickets.

I went to school with a guy who had a ticket swapping site back before the consolidation.  Specially I think he bought tickets to sell to the swapping sites when they ran low but not 100%  Fees were a lot more reasonable. The big boys were still crushing competition. 
 

I think my issue is that you can only realistically buy tickets online yet they charge you a premium.  It’s totally backwards. 
 

The only realistic way to stop it would be for

A) A new player to enter the game with a twist on the system but given the market I’m skeptical. 
B) Governent Crackdown

c) Sports leagues crackdown. But this is unlikely my guess is the ticket sites have contracts to buy a set number of tickets extending into the future. Which insulates the leagues from shocks. 
 

Honestly if prefer if they were just honest and charged a single fee instead of making up BS terms. Don’t insult my intelligence as you fleece me

Beck was pretty mid this year so not sure how much this really hurts them.

They also lost their starting punter, who was up for the Ray Guy Award.  Having knee surgery.

He wasn't as good as he should have been.  But he still threw for 3500 yards and 26 touchdowns. 

Losing your starting QB in the playoffs is a huge loss.  Their backup has only thrown 51 passes in his entire career.

Face value for tickets offered in the IU allotment of 3,500 tickets is $160 for lower level and $100 for upper level.

I know they're a couple days old, but just saw some more comments from whiny SEC fusspots like Nick Saban and Shane Beamer, along with more IU, SMU and Boise State bashing from the sordid SEC fan base. So, according to their formula, this is the rightful CFP field:

Thoughts on the draw: give the road route (that should be for debate as well) this is the best possible draw. Play a Notre Dame team that relies heavily on the run. Key is going to be containing Riley Leonard. Win that, and you play a Georgia team struggling on offense right now. Their OLine isn't great, run game has been inconsistent, and most likely their backup QB. Their defense is very good. Probably best of the possible teams left. What's odd is Georgia got the Sugar Bowl (NOLA) and not Peach Bowl (ATL). Then, semifinals would be SMU/Penn State or Boise State. You could argue that game would be the least challening. 

OSU game might be somewhat of a blessing. Listening to Cig on ESPN talk about things he would do differently this time.

Exactly. Anyone that is arguing for Bama should be ashamed. I watched the OU game and they got absolutely bent over (with no lube) in that game. A .500 Oklahoma team dominated them in every facet and it wasn't nearly as close as the score. They also dropped a game to an average Vandy team. I don't care if they beat the '85 Bears, they are disqualified. In fact, their program should get the death penalty for a couple of years to think about what they did. So freaking over the SEC worship.

Not only did Bama get drilled by Oklahoma it was after a win over Mercer and before their final game against a very mediocre Auburn.  They can’t cry about the SEC meat grinder, that they always whine about, when the game prior to Oklahoma  was at home against MERCER.

PS. We played 4 of the teams, in the list of 12 toughest schedules, and went 4-0. According to Bama/Finebaum criteria we should be the #1 seed with a bye.

This! I'm not even sure what the discussion was about? One of Bama's "ranked" wins is Missouri... yawn!
